Exciting news to announce:

My “Jakob Helling Concert Big Band” is going to collaborate with the phenomenal singer Fay Claassen this summer!

We are going to play a few concerts in north-west Germany and in Unterfahrt Munich in the beginning of June and we’ll record an album together in August! There are going to be some new instrumental compositions of mine and of course a focus on Fay’s incredible voice. I am really excited about this..! More infos coming soon.

Then I am really happy to have been able to work with the “Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen”!

We did a recording of my new arrengement of Rameau’s “Les Sauvages” for “Music Swap Lab”. And although both, the conductor and the boys choir, had to cancel due to Covid, the orchestra made the music sparkle. Looking forward to when the choir is going to overdub their part in the end of April.
